Samuel Henry Scissons

  General Notes:

After the 30's, moved to Ottawa where he was employed by the Hugh Carson Leather Co.at Smith Falls, Ontario (near Ottawa), and then to Portland, Ontario and then to O'Malley in 1919. They both returned to Portland Ontario in 1938 where they resided until their deaths. He was postmaster in O'Malley from 1925 to 1937.

Samuel married Mary Louisa (Louisa) O'Hara, daughter of John (Jack) O'Hara and Elizabeth Mary Nash, in South March, Ontario. (Mary Louisa (Louisa) O'Hara was born on 25 Mar 1889 in S. March, Ontario, Canada and died in Portland, Ontario.)
