Notes for JOHN (JACK) O'HARA:
The first funeral held in the Swanson Church was for J.J. Senior of O'Malley.
Mr. & Mrs. Jack O'Hara, along with Tom and Jim homesteaded in the O'Malley district in 1907. They were followed a few years later by Joseph and daughters Lena, Margaret and Eva and in 1919 by Louise (Mrs. Sam. Scissons) and their family.
Mr. O'Hara's father (Thomas) came from County Cork in Ireland (not sure yet) and settled at South March Ontario.
The hotel built by J.J. #1 in March corners, Ontario was called the Club Hotel. He moved to Saskatchewan because of prohibition.

The original farm house built by Jack in 1908 is still in Saskatchewan and John's great-great grandson (Stan O'Hara) lives there now.
John married Elizabeth Mary Nash, daughter of William Nash and Margaret Ahearn. (Elizabeth Mary Nash was born on 30 May 1861 in Torbolton, Ontario, died on 26 Feb 1929 in Delisle Saskatchewan and was buried in Delisle Saskatchewan.)
