Came from Limwardi, Ireland directly to Canada when she was 16. Worked as a housekeeper/helper until she married Joseph. Called Betty

Elizabeth married Joseph Lawrence (Joe) O'Hara, son of John (Jack) O'Hara and Elizabeth Mary Nash, in Swanson, Saskatchewan. (Joseph Lawrence (Joe) O'Hara was born on 18 Feb 1891 and died in 1949 in Swanson, Saskatchewan.)

  Marriage Notes:

Joseph and his wife were the first wedding held in the Swanson church which was the old Poplar Bluff School, south of Laura. It was renovated into the Swanson Church. He remained on his father's homestead.
