Her age is based on the 1851 census.which showed her as 38.

  Noted events in her life were:

• married: Married, 1842. George Edge/Hedge born abt 1781-1784 in Ireland. He lived in March with his wife, Ellen Ryan, and his family of at least 4 children. He remarried after Ellen died in 1838; his second wife was Mary Behan. They married in 1842. She was 30 years (or more) younger than he and he essentially had a second family with her (8 more kids). This is the George Edge who was Mary Ann Edge's father -- "our" George Edge. He died in 1868 and is buried at St. Isidore with Ellen Ryan, next to Mary Ann. [George Edge b 1784]

Mary had a relationship with George Edge, son of Unknown and Unknown, on 5 Oct 1842. (George Edge was born in 1784 in parish of Emly, Co Tipperary, Ireland, died on 9 Jan 1868 and was buried in St. Isidore, S. March, Ontario.)
