Obituary, from The Ottawa Journal, Jan 2, 1923
The death occurred yesterday at her residence, 110 Nepean Street of Mrs. Ellen Going, relict of Mr. John Going. She was born at South March in 1845, but had resided in Ottawa the greater part of her life. Of a quiet and retiring disposition, Mrs. Going made a great many friends who were grieved to hear of her passing. Surviving are three sons, Messrs. John, Joseph and Philip Going and two daughters Mrs. T Broker and Miss Norah Going, all residing in Ottawa. One sister, Mrs. M. Kirwin, of Ottawa, and four brothers, James, John, Thomas and Joseph O'Hara also mourn her loss. the funeral will be held from 110 Nepean Street at nine o'clock Wednesday morning to St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame cemetery,
